When you purchase your elf painted you'll receive the new, and exclusive to Apple Valley Doll Works, Inner Glow Baby Series starting with our adorable Holiday Elves. Our new painting technique gives special depth and character to these adorable baby elves.
You Personalize Your Baby Elf:
- Your choice of expression (shown below)
- Green, blue, or brown eyes
- Brown hair or carrot red hair
- Christmas Elf outfit & elf body or the Holiday Green outfit & baby body
Assemble the kit with your favorite kiddo or you can purchase the doll assembled by checking the assembly box below. You can use regular stuffing (found at fabric and craft stores) or, for extra realism, use our weighted tiny glass beads. The beads also make the doll easier to pose and less "stiff" than when just regular stuffing is used.
Assembly Fee Includes:
- Assembling the vinyl parts to cloth body slip
- Dressing the elf in the clothing you choose
- Attaching the hair of your choice
- Stuffing the doll with polyfil or a glass bead and polyfil blend
- Packaging the finished elf in specialty material to make sure nothing happens to your little baby elf on its way home
Outfits and Body Style Information:
- Green Holiday Outfit & Baby Body: The green holiday romper is corduroy and the snowflake buttons are sold separately. It comes with green buttons and the buttons can be left plain if you'd like. Your little barefoot baby elf has long vinyl limbs (called 3/4 limbs) that join the cloth body midway between the shoulder and elbow and has a jointed cloth body. These items are available separately and unpainted for those who wish to paint their baby elf themselves.
- Elf Outfit & Body: The elf outfit is red with green felt trim and includes a hat and black booties. The elf outfit is also the body! The green felt sleeves and the green collar hide the cable attachments and the body has 1/4 vinyl limbs, which means you can more easily pose the elf. But be careful when you put stuffing or glass beads in this body, make sure you don't over-stuff the body of the arms and legs so you can easily to pose this adorable elf. The elf outfit include the hat, booties, and collar and is not available separately from the elf kit.

The Little Extras:
- Snowflake Buttons: if you order the snowflake buttons, with assembly, they will come separately and you will need to attach them yourself. We're sorry for any inconvenience this causes you! Snowflake buttons come ten to a bag and in three different sizes.
- Glass Weighting Beads: the teeny tiny glass beads come two pounds per bag when ordered separately for $9.99. If you choose to have your assembled baby elf come with glass beads the baby elf will have a combination of stuffing and glass beads that takes advantage of both items best features for a prefect blend! You can order the glass beads separately by checking the appropriate box.
